Biography

Mr Mark Cheng is an IP Management Consultant with IP ValueLab, the enterprise engagement arm of IPOS, and holds a concurrent appointment as Adjunct Faculty of IP Academy.

Prior to joining the IPOS Family, Mark was in private practice at an international firm where he specialised in dispute resolution, criminal and civil litigation, mediation, and arbitration proceedings. Through his practice, Mark had experience working with a wide range of disputes ranging from workman compensation and personal injury claims, to multi-national companies in cross-jurisdictional disputes.

In his current engagement as an IPM Consultant, Mark actively engages IP-ready businesses to compete globally by finding solutions in innovation and IP management. Mark also engages public agencies to provide IP management advisory services on a diverse range of issues. Outside of work, Mark has a keen interest in the intersections between intellectual property, innovation technology and business strategy.
