GCIP 2015/2016 Auditing Programme - Law of Copyright and Designs

The Patent Agent Training Series is a training suite launched by IP Academy Singapore to train professionals in Patent Agent work, as well as help aspiring Agents achieve the necessary skills to qualify as Singapore Registered Patent Agents.

 

The training programs cover patent related topics in depth, lessons on practical skills and training assessments which will expose candidates to actual work scenarios, in addition to the wealth of theoretical knowledge.

Patent Agent Training Series - Handle Written Opinion/Office Actions

Patent Agent Training Series - Handle Patent Infringement and Invalidity

This program – Handle Patent Infringement and Invalidity – focuses on establishing whether a valid priority claim, determining sufficiency of description, assessing of infringing item and summarizing claim set as to whether valid and/or infringed.

 

The lectures take a three pronged approach to cover drafting patent applications holistically:

Theory – covering patent legislation, current practice, regulations
Skills – communicate the opinion to relevant stakeholders (i.e. patentee or infringer)
Assessment – real practice scenarios with individual feedback on areas for improvement.
